What is the tie-in between San Francisco, 140,000 and the term ‘customer success?’ The answer: Dreamforce 2014. Rumor has it that this year’s Salesforce user event in San Francisco had 140,000 people registered to attend – signaling that Dreamforce is no longer only a user event for Salesforce.com customers, but rather an industry event.
Similar to the years before, this year’s Dreamforce featured several important announcements for Salesforce, and blended entertainment very well in sharing those with attendees. Below are some highlights of the announcements made – along with my perspective.
