Tech Company Mines Unstructured Data to Drive New Business

A major technology company was interested in recognizing and capturing business change indicators related to their offerings. These include news items such as when, or if, a business is hiring, moving, expanding or receiving investments. Often, this type of information is stored in a wealth of unstructured data on public websites. The company lacked the tools to mine and extract the data from this massive unstructured pool to get the key pieces of information they sought.
